I would like to get a custom size. How can I get started?

If you require a custom skylight, we encourage you to fill in our contact form and we will get back to you in less than 24 hours.

What are the overall dimensions of your skylights?

Overall dimensions for each product are listed on our website. You can find the internal and external dimensions of the skylight, as well as the overall dimensions and weight of the pallet as you will receive it.

What is the largest skylight that you could manufacture?

As a general rule of thumb, the largest single piece of glass we could produce is 2700 x 5800 mm. However, we could design for you a modular skylight made out of more than one piece of glass, so the largest size is entirely up to you.

What is the maximum allowable Ug value?

United Kingdom’s relevant building regulations cap Ug values for windows, roof lights and glazed doors at 1.4 W/m²K. With cutting your energy bill in mind, our skylights offer industry-leading values as low as 0.6 W/m²K. Read what is U-value and why is it important to you here

Do you offer any warranty on your product?

We are committed to supplying quality products that will last a lifetime. And therefore all of our skylights come with a 20-year unit seal warranty.

Does your skylights have any frame?

No. We designed our skylights completely frameless, so you can get maximum sunlight into your home.

Can I place blinds over my skylight?

Yes, you can install blinds of your choice. We recommend leaving at least 150mm between the skylight and the blinds to reduce the thermal stress on the glass and avoid any scratches.

I’m worried about the noise when it rains.

All our skylights are triple glazed, designed to increase sound insulation by using variable glass thickness within the uint and bigger spacers (15mm as standard on all our skylights).

At what pitch should I install my skylights?

We recommend constructing an upstand at a 5 degrees angle to help shed water off the glass.

Can I install your skylights myself?

Yes. We have a simple 3 step guide which will guide you through every step of the process. And if you are still unsure, we would be happy to assist you along. Just call our technical support team.

Do I need planning permission to install a skylight?

As a general rule, no. The planning portal states: “You do not normally need to apply for planning permission to re-roof your house or to insert roof lights or skylights as the permitted development rules allow for roof alterations subject to the following limits and conditions”.
-Any alteration to the project no more than 150 millimetres from the existing roof plane.
-No alteration to be higher than the highest part of the roof.
However, we would still recommend you speak with a professional for your particular case.
